One person is dead and there is no word on whether an arrest has been made following a shooting in northwest London Friday night.
Police were called to the area of Wateroak Drive and Heardcreek Trail – near Fanshawe Park Road and Hyde Park Road – for reports of multiple gunshots fired at about 7:55 p.m.
Upon arrival, police say they located one person with life-threatening injuries who was rushed to hospital, but later died. No information has been released about the age or identity of the victim.
Police have not said whether they are looking for suspects at this time or whether there is a threat to public safety.
There was an earlier shooting Friday in the city’s east end that sent one person to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two suspects were arrested in connection to the shooting near Vinewood Court and Cleveland Avenue that took place at about 12:15 p.m. A firearm was recovered by police.
